Terms & Conditions @ McLaren Hall
Please read through these conditions of hire and help us look after the hall.
Please read all the sections below carefully – thank you. | |
1. | I agree to leave the Hall as I found it, clean and tidy, wipe down any tables used and put chairs and tables away. |
2. | I will brush the floor after use and empty recycling and rubbish bags into outside bins. Note: The extra cleaning charge applied to large event bookings does not cover the above tidying |
3. | I will keep a note of the number of people attending for fire regulations and will not exceed the max no for each area. |
4. | I will agree to check that all lights, including the toilets, are off before we leave. |
5. | If Licensed event, I have obtained an Alcohol Licence from Stirling Council. |
6. | If Licensed event, I agree to the extra cleaning charges which will be applied. |
7. | I have read the attached Fire Safety Document |
8. | I will be playing recorded music and have arranged my own PPL licence. Note: The hall as a building does have the required PRS licence. |
9. | I the hirer am deemed the “Responsible Person” and am the designated person in charge of the Hall during the period of hire. |
10. | Your own Hirer’s Risk Assessment completed |
11. | Public Liability & Event Insurance obtained |
12. | I am providing our own Event Security if deemed necessary |
13. | PLEASE be aware that the building does not currently have an automatic fire alarm detection system. The property is equipped with a manual fire alarm. |

Cancellation Policy When notification of cancellation is received less than 21 days prior to booking date – deposit is refundable. When notification of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to booking date – 50% cancellation charge. | |
